One List, Three Indexes: Google, Bing, and Yandex Checks
Google-only monitoring made sense when Google was the only referrer that mattered. Between Bing's footprint in AI answer surfaces and Yandex owning entire regional markets, a URL can be a top performer in one index and absent from another — and a single-engine report never notices.
Three engines, three different "no"s
- Google's miss is usually a quality or crawl-priority verdict — the page was seen and passed over. Manual verification quirks apply: the site: operator behaves as a results filter with estimated counts, per Google's own documentation, and the same caution transfers loosely to other engines' operators.
- Bing's miss often traces to discovery — thinner crawling on small and new sites — which makes it the engine where sitemap hygiene pays off fastest.
- Yandex's miss follows its own quality model and its own cadence entirely; assumptions imported from Google reasoning fail here most often.
Same list, three verdict columns: Bing index checker and Yandex index checker run the identical batch workflow as the Google check — .txt in, per-URL file out — so the marginal cost of the second and third engine is close to zero.
Reporting without triple work
One table: URL, template, Google verdict, Bing verdict, Yandex verdict, run date. Two patterns worth an alert:
- Out everywhere — the page itself is the problem: directives, thinness, dead status. Fix once, all three engines benefit.
- Out in exactly one engine — an engine-specific issue: discovery for Bing, quality-model mismatch for Yandex, evaluation for Google. The fix is targeted, and so is the resubmission.
Cadence per engine
Google samples weekly (it moves fastest and carries most revenue for most sites), Bing and Yandex biweekly or monthly unless a market depends on them. Verification-and-refund cycles differ too — Google results confirm on Day 7, Yandex on Day 15 in SpeedyIndex reporting — so multi-engine dashboards should date each verdict rather than pretending the columns are simultaneous.
